FLYBRN

Privacy Policy

FLYBRN · operated by JM Media · Effective September 8, 2026

1. Who we are

FLYBRN is operated by JM Media. We audit how companies make money, operate and grow, and we build the systems they should be running on. This policy covers flybrn.com and the way we handle information during an engagement.

2. What we collect

  • What you send us — your name and work email, your company and role, what you are trying to fix, and a mobile number if you choose to give one.
  • SMS consent — if you tick the box, we record that you ticked it, when, and the wording you were shown. That record exists so consent can be proven and withdrawn.
  • Anything you ask our assistant — questions typed into the assistant on this site, so a person can pick up the thread and answer properly.
  • Basic usage data — pages visited and standard log and device information, to see what is working and to keep the site up.

There is no account on this site. Nothing to sign up for, no password, and nothing for you to upload.

3. Your systems during an engagement

This is the part that matters most, and it applies only once you have engaged us. An audit means looking at how the business actually runs, so we work inside your accounts with access you grant and can revoke.

  • Read access wherever read access is enough, which is almost always.
  • Your data stays in your environment. We do not copy your customer records out to hold them ourselves.
  • Nothing is used to train anything, and no model provider sees your data unless you have chosen that provider and signed for it yourself.
  • Access ends when the work does. You remove it, and we ask you to.
  • The written report we hand back is yours. We keep our own copy as a record of work delivered.

4. How we use what you send

  • To reply to you and scope the work.
  • To send the emails you asked for, and texts only if you ticked the box.
  • To keep our own records of enquiries, engagements and consent.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.

5. Who else touches it

A small number of suppliers process data so we can operate: hosting and infrastructure, email and SMS delivery, and analytics. They act on our instructions and only for these purposes. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while there is a live conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards. Engagement records and consent records are kept as long as we are required to. Ask us to delete yours and we will, unless we are obliged to retain it.

7. Your choices

  • Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and it works on one click.
  • Reply STOP to any text to end texts. See our SMS terms.
  • Ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
  • Withdraw consent at any time. It does not undo what was already sent, and it is never a condition of working with us.

Email privacy@flybrn.com and a person will handle it.

8. Security, and being straight about it

We use access controls, encryption in transit, and keep the number of people who can see anything small. No one can promise perfect security and we are not going to. What we can say is that we hold as little as possible in the first place.

9. Children

This is a business service. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the effective date above and, where it affects you, tell you directly.
